Anna square

The beachroad near the marina beach is the most imporant road of the state TamilNadu in India. The road comprises all governmetn buildings, famous colleges and historical buildings etc. On the other side near the sand there are many statues and monuments for the legends of all fields all over the world.one among those monument is the Anna Square. The square is built as a memorial for the Dravidian movement leader Annadurai with a lavishly laid out park . The memorial is located towards north of the beach with a marvellous entrance marked by an arch that looks like converging tusks of an elephant. We can see a small tomb at the square with a pillar like structure with an eternal flame. Since it is a common place for tourists to visit to enhance the attraction state government has also included a small safari park, nocturnal animal house, an aquarium and a museum. We can enjoy the cool see breeze from the tomb.
